Isn’t the Canadian film industry more about independent film not blockbusters. I don’t know of a Canadian actor or script that’s had high energy come through the screen. Maybe a lot of Canadians want to see Canadian film and there’s no passionate enough writer director actor to make for an interesting script.

Being from the Midwest, I've seen 4 Canadian films in theaters over the past two years: Skinamarink, Infinity Pool, BlackBerry, and In A Violent Nature. They didn't make a massive dent in the zeitgeist but they got the job done. There must be something good happening there.

yea well for me the toughest part is that he always breaks my stuff, like once he slammed my brand new phone on the floor and my mom didn’t do anything about it. i somehow understand him because i have adhd but he sometimes punches me and kicks me and just laughs afterwards even though sometimes i cry (mostly when he breaks and ruins my stuff) he still laughs and giggles and thinks its funny.

Siphé, of course, is gorgeous. Whoever did the film did a wonderful job. I loved the decision to photograph Mr. November in a monumental light. Here, he’s like a vast skyscraper or a mountain carved into a sculpture or the starship Enterprise. Very effective and well suited.

I'm listening to The Witcher series on audible, and the author's favorite move in sword combat, is a pirouette, It is seemingly the answer to everything in a sword fight in this universe lol And I'm not sure this is exactly what he meant by a pirouette.

Am I a horrible turner?

Thank you for the video! Just wanted to add that what we see in old icons is not a lack of perspective, but a reverse perspective. That was done intentionally because with direct perspective the human observer plays the role of the center, and with reverse perspective the icon itself becomes in the center, so it's kind of the image is looking at the observer. The reverse perspective is clearly visible in the picture Trinity (Andrei Rublev)
